Beloved I would like to say ‘Yohana" for our independence day is on May 24^th Yohana is said; to express congratulation. In other words ‘It is good He brought us thus far'. May 24, 2010 IS ERITREAN INDEPENDENCE DAY. What is the significance in the number?  The number 24 is the symbol of Priestly order & Government leadership becomes perfect. The number 24 symbolizes the 24 thrones & 24 elders in Rev.4. On our Eritrean flag we have 24 olive leaves. May 24^th is our independence day. The 24 elders represent the 12 tribes of Israel & the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ. "The twenty four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne & worship him who lives forever & ever. They lay their crowns before the throne & say: "You are worthy, our Lord & God, to receive glory & honor & power, for you created all things & by your will they were created & have their being." (Rev.4: 10-11).

Question: Do we have people who represent the Churches in Eritrea & who bow down before the Lord & pray? Pray & ask GodPray & ask God this day, May 24 to pronounce Eritrea perfect Priestly order, & perfect Government leadership. If we had such perfection, the Churches would have not been closed or persecuted.  In the midst of our calamity the Lord our God voices out: "But you, O Israel, my servant, Jacob, who I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said. ‘You are my servant': I have chosen you & have not rejected you" (Isa.41: 8-9) Ask God for every prayer to be; answered.  Give thanks for the 38 believers who have been released last month from Maittire prison. Pray & lift up the Church in Eritrea higher. She is chosen & as a result persecuted. God did not rejected us for we are truly Abraham's offspring.  In same place, to those who pray with this prayer guide, God to give them their big reward.

"our sister in the Lord Hannah Asgodom went to be with the Lord in the resent time. While she was in prison because of her faith in Christ, either they tortured her to death or sickness we are yet to find out the cause of her death. There is negligence to deny the prisoners medical assistance. Just like the believer, "Yemane Kahasay Andom, imprisoned by the repressive government of Eritrea, died in August 2009 because the authorities refused to provide him with medical treatment. Weakened by continuous physical torture and solitary confinement, he contracted malaria at the Maitire Confinement Center and died.  He would not sign a letter renouncing his faith in Christ."             This month the passage for our prayer guide is taken from Isa.41, which is more relevant to our situation as far as this month is concerned. "Who has stirred up one from the east calling him in righteousness to his service? He hands nations over to him & subdues kings before him. He turns them to dust with his sword, to windblown chaff with his bow. He pursues them & moves on unscathed, by a path his feet have not traveled before. Who has done this & carried it through calling forth the generations from the; beginning? I, the LORD-with the first of them & with the last-I am he. The islands have seen it & fear; the ends of the earth tremble. They approach; & come forward"  (Isa.41: 2-5) Pray & give thanks to the Lord our God for He removed the wrath of the enemy & He granted us an everlasting independence of our nation. Pray & bring repentance, for our leaders do not carry out God's righteous purpose. Pray them to carry out God's righteous purposes. God has been the eternal Lord of the history & He is the creator of Eritrea. He knew its foundation, its place, the people to inhabit it, & he was with them from the beginning, & he will be with the last of them through out the generations to come. Pray & give thanks to our God & Lord for he predestined Eritrea to be inhabited by the people of Eritrea. Looking at what the Lord God has bright future for Eritrea; all nations up to the ends of the earth will be amazed & tremble. Pray & ask God to bring to Eritrea people who are worthy of Him, from the ends of the earth. Pray them to do exploits in the land

The enemy does not, and will not give up from devastating our Nation and the Body of Christ in Eritrea. Married couples in Eritrea have marriage problems. Continue praying for families to be ;restored.  Remember the family members who lost their loved ones in prison. The Bible says; "Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land when the wicked are cut off, you will see it. I have seen a wicked and ruthless man flourishing like a green tree in its native soil, but he soon passed away and was no more; though I looked for him, he could not be found." (Psalm. 37: 34-36)

 Pray against the viper's eggs & the spin a spider's web, for whoever eats their eggs will die. Pray before it is broken & hatched to die within an adder so that our Nation Eritrea and the body of Christ can escape from it's poison, in whichever way comes. ( Isa. 59: 5). Continue to pray like you never prayed before, until every prayer is answered. One day we will go and plant Churches like never happened before.
